Rockstar Studios has officially confirmed and given a release date for the PC version of the massive console hit GTA IV, for both North America and Europe.

In North america the game will be launched on November 18th, whereas the game will be released a few days later in Europe on the 21st.

The PC version of the game was always on the cards, but had existed only as a rumor even though previous games in the long-running series had all previously made the jump to the PC platform. This is however the first time that the game has been officially confirmed for the PC.

GTA IV was released on consoles worldwide on he 29th of April, selling almost 8.5 million copies.
