You can change the world when you educate through connections. Cat
Canyon at Lee Richardson Zoo will allow us to educate our more than
200,000 visitors annually about each of the unique cats native to the
Americas. Bobcat, puma and jaguar will be represented in this exhibit
that will give visitors a chance to view these illusive animals in a
natural setting. You might never see an individual in their wild
habitat but in Cat Canyon visitors will have a chance to connect to
these beautiful cats. When we connect to a species through eduction, we
can then support the conservation efforts to save their place in this
world. Cat Canyon will help change the world.
Friends of Lee
Richardson Zoo has a firm policy of not building until full funds have
been received. $300,000 remains to be raised by November 1, 2011
through donations, events and grants. You can make a difference and
Pepsi is willing to help!
